On November 15, 2012, a conference entitled Strengths and weaknesses of implementing innovative solutions in Poland was held in Ruda Śląska. Ekoinwentyka sp. z o. o. together with the co-organizers Katowicki Holding Węglowy, the Institute of Ecology of Industrial Areas, the Institute of Economic and Social Sciences and the Silesian Industrial and Technology Park, invited entrepreneurs, representatives of local government authorities and business environment institutions. Many aspects of implementing new solutions in various industries were discussed, a number of proposals were made to facilitate the path “from idea to industry”, and opportunities for innovative companies to obtain support from various sources, both organizational and financial, were presented. An important point of the conference was the presentation of the operation of a fully functional (automated) installation for the disposal of volatile organic compounds and odors on a semi-industrial scale.
