UŚ Violetta Kozik from the Institute of Chemistry, WNSiT, University of Silesia in Katowice, together with the Mayor of Ruda Śląska, the University of Silesia, PTChem, Enterprise Europe Network – GAPR Gliwice, EVAN s.c., BERSTIC have the honor to invite you to participate in the “7th International Conference – Bioreactors in the fight for clean air – Innovations in the service of air protection – in the aspect of energy transformation”. The conference is addressed to companies, representatives of local government, scientists, scientific institutions, representatives of industry, administration, companies related to green technologies, international partners, authorities at the national and regional level and students interested in the latest results of research and development in the implementation of innovations in environmental protection, including bio-purification of air from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors (NH3, H2S, mercaptans, etc.) and methane. The conference topics will include the production and storage of green energy, the construction of renewable energy installations, increasing energy efficiency and supporting solutions to prevent or reduce emissions of pollutants related to energy production. The conference will also present the results of the project on purifying ventilation air from methane in the mine using the innovative KBT Bioreactor technology. In addition, current steps in preparing an R&D project for the production and storage of green energy in the form of hydrogen and its use for heating purposes will be presented. The program is planned to present the results of the operation efficiency of KBT bioreactor installations for selected industries (sewage treatment plants, automotive, PKN Orlen S.A., paint industry, Grupa Azoty Kopalnie i Zakłady Chemiczne Siarki Siarkopol S.A., KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., coal mines, etc.) and the latest innovative technologies in the field of air and water protection (details in the conference agenda). During the conference, the KBT bioreactor will be presented in a pilot form.
