We are pleased to announce that on May 22, 2021, President of the Management Board Damian Kasperczyk, during the “Doctoral promotions of the Silesian University of Technology 2019/2020” ceremony, received from His Rector of the Silesian University of Technology prof. Ph.D. engineer Arkadiusz Mężyk, Ph.D.
Public defense of doctoral thesis entitled “Application of three-phase bioreactors for the degradation of volatile organic compounds and odorogenic substances” took place on June 28, 2019 at the Faculty of Environmental and Energy Engineering. The Faculty Council adopted a resolution on awarding the doctoral degree and a resolution on awarding the doctoral dissertation.
“The defense of my doctoral thesis crowned the period of study at the Silesian University of Technology, on the one hand, it was a source of great joy and relief, and on the other hand, it motivated me to continue research and development work. I would like to thank my supervisor, Prof. Krzysztof Barbusiński, Ph.D., for his valuable advice, kindness and help in preparing the dissertation. I would also like to thank the reviewers, Prof. Maria, Ph.D. Eng. Włodarczyk-Makuła (Częstochowa University of Technology) and Dr. Sylwia Myszograj, professor at the University of Zielona Góra, for their involvement in preparing the review, suggestions for publishing the doctoral thesis and the application for its distinction,” said the President of the Management Board, Damian Kasperczyk.
Due to the sanitary and epidemiological situation related to the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19), the ceremony took place under strict sanitary regime.
