On May 13, 2014, the conference “Eco-innovations in the new financial perspective 2014-2020” was held in the Silesian Industrial and Technology Park in Ruda Śląska, organized by Ekoinwentyka Sp. z o. o. , the Upper Silesian Agency for Entrepreneurship and Development sp. z o. o., the Regional Contact Point of the Silesian University of Technology and the Silesian Industrial and Technology Park in Ruda Śląska.
The conference was combined with the presentation of an innovative semi-industrial installation for the bioelimination of VOCs and odors from Ekoinwentyka sp. z o.o. – currently implemented, among others, at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.
The conference was honored by the presence of Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek, the Mayor of Ruda Śląska – Mrs. Grażyna Dziedzic and people from the science and business environment. During the conference, sources of financing and activities for environmental protection, renewable energy sources and the development of innovative technologies were presented.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about opinions on the implementation of innovative solutions in Poland. The speakers during the meeting were entrepreneurs and authorities, including Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek, who stated that the source of Poland’s further economic development in the coming years is investment in innovation.
We hope that the conference was an opportunity to build the foundations of a three-sector agreement for innovation.
