The Ekoinwentyka technology used for bio-purification of air using a Compact Trickle Bed Bioreactor (CTBB) has been implemented in the paint industry of the “automotive” sector.
The CTBB reactor cleans 10,000 m3/h air of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Bio-purification of air from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and odors in Compact Trickle Bed Bioreactors (CTBB)
Ekoinwentyka is a company operating in the field of environmental protection and biotechnology. We mainly deal with air purification, using the innovative technological solutions we created. We focus mainly on the bio-utilization of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors including H2S, NH3.
We offer individual turnkey installations using a Compact Trickle Bed Bioreactor (CTBB) using bio-purifying gas processes. We guarantee the required reduction VOC resulting from production processes.
The achievable conversion of pollutants is 99% and is characterized by very high economic and ecological efficiency. Conducting the process at low temperature (300C) and atmospheric pressure results in many positive effects:
- Removal of the social problem concerning odorous odors – concerns mainly sewage treatment plants and waste management plants)
- Low operating costs of running the process
- Low energy consumption
- No need to use catalysts
- Small installation failure
- Low service costs also due to the high degree of automation of the control process and on-line monitoring implemented by the manufacturer
- No fees for CO2 and NOx emissions
- Long installation life
- No explosion hazard
- High degree of pollution reduction
- High ecological efficiency
- No secondary pollution
- No NOxi CO2emissions
Implementations
Technology of the company Ekoinwentyka sp.z o.o. used for bio-purification of gases with the use of a compact trickle bed bioreactor (CTBB) has been implemented and tested in various industries (petrochemical, composting, copper ore mines), and most importantly integrated with processes taking place in these enterprises.
Below are examples of CTBB bioreactors of the Ekoinwentyka company, purifying air from VOCs.
