Today we presented the installation of the Compact Three-Phase Bioreactor located at the Chorzów-Świętochłowice Water and Sewerage Company sp. z o.o. – Klimzowiec Sewage Treatment Plant.
Today’s presentation is the first result of the 3rd international conference “Bioreactors in the fight for clean air!!!” organized at the end of July. We have established cooperation with PREDA from Opole, which requested a presentation of the KBT installation for entrepreneurs and institutions associated with the Opole Center for Economic Development (Local Government Unit of the Opole Voivodeship).
During the meeting, the pilot KBT installation, its method of operation, and legal and environmental requirements for functioning in the water and sewage industry were presented.
The results of research and development work carried out by the Ekoinwentyka company as part of the EU project “Increasing the scale (upscaling) and development of technology for biopurification of air from VOCs and odors in a Battery of Compact Three-Phase Bioreactors, in order to implement it in new industries” – co-financing agreement no.: POIR.01.01.01-00-1256/19 were presented.
During the speech, the progress of research in the field of “Adaptation of odor removal technology in Compact Three-Phase Bioreactors to the municipal sector, in particular to sewage treatment plants” was discussed.
